Electrician | PAYE

PDP has a vacancy for a full time Electrician. This is an opportunity to join a friendly, forward facing and evolving small business.

Purpose of Role

The role will include work across domestic and commercial premises:

· Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards, including fire alarms.

· Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms.

· Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction.

· Work across departments as required, particularly the solar department assisting with solar PV installations.

· Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations and NICEIC requirements.

This is full time role, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

Experience

You must have at least two years’ experience as an Electrician.

Key Requirements

· Technical knowledge and experience of domestic and commercial electrical systems.

· ECS Card – Electrician

· Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

· Pass an advanced background check (Enhanced DBS Check)

· Valid UK driving license.

· Ability to work in a team and on your own.

Qualifications

· NVQ Level 3 Diploma or equivalent

· 18th Edition (2ndAmendment preferred but not essential)

· 2391-52 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)

Sub Contractor Electrician

PDP has a vacancy for a full time Electrician on a 3 month contract with the potential to move onto a full time PAYE contract or long-term self employed basis. This is an opportunity to join a friendly, forward facing and evolving small business.

Purpose of Role

The role will include work across domestic and commercial premises:

· Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.

· Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards, including fire alarms.

· Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms.

· Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction.

Plumber | PAYE

Your primary job role will be general plumbing works, including pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, bathrooms, toilets, leaks, and unvented servicing.

You will be expected to liaise with your line manager to deliver a quality installation with minimal disruption to the client, working to high standards to meet both the Company’s and Customers expectations.

Experience

· Experience and understanding of domestic water and heating systems.

· Unvented cylinders (preferred but not essential, training will be provided).

· Heat pump installation and servicing (preferred but not essential, training will be provided).

Qualifications

· NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating or above.

· A clean, full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Your primary job role will be to oversee site projects, general plumbing works, including pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, bathrooms, toilets, leaks, and unvented servicing.

Experience

· Experience in supervising site works and projects.

· Experience and understanding of domestic water and heating systems.

· Unvented cylinders (preferred but not essential, training will be provided).

Qualifications

· NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating or above.

· A clean, full UK Driving Licence is essential.

· Pass an advanced background check (Enhanced DBS Check)

Salary

· Salary £136 – £145 per day
